American Honda's 50th Anniversary - Honda Choir Version Video

Honda marked its first 50 years in America June 11, 2009, commemorating the establishment of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., in a small Los Angeles storefront on June 11, 1959.

Starting in 1959, with the fuel-efficient Honda 50 motorcycle, to the newly launched 2010 Honda Insight gas-electric hybrid vehicle, Honda has introduced new technologies and business strategies that have shaped the industry and the growth of Honda, including:
?First automaker to meet U.S. Clean Air Act without a catalytic converter Civic CVCC (1974)
?First vehicle to top U.S. EPA list of most fuel efficient cars Civic (1977)
?First Japanese automaker to build motorcycles (1979) and automobiles (1982) in America Marysville, Ohio*
?First Japanese automaker to establish a luxury automobile brand -- Acura (1986)
?First mass produced gas electric hybrid car introduced in America -- Insight (1999)
??First government-certified hydrogen fuel cell vehicle -- FCX (2002)

Honda has steadily expanded its U.S. presence to encompass a broad range of products and operations. Honda of America in Ohio gave? Marysville great jobs, great cars, and a great example of how to run an extraordinary business. Honda has helped Columbus to grow gracefully. I'm a fan of both Ford and Honda. I'm guessing their employees make such high-quality cars because they are treated well. It shows in their products.

i remember back in ...
i remember back in the early 1960's? when Honda began advertising "You meet the nicest people on a Honda" and the sales really took off, especially when everyone recognized that Honda Quality was Perfection and it was in stark contrast to Harley-Davidson with its hell's angels image( unscrupulous trash and criminals rode harleys) and harleys had mechanical problems. even today, one observes s**theads on harleys and families and the NICEST PEOPLE in Hondas and ACURAS,especially TL TECH SH/AWD.

Honda has always been innovative and pushing their products further. Sadly, I don't think of Honda that much today. To think that the company that made the NSX? doesn't have a single sports car today on their line of products. You killed the NSX, and the S2000. Please, bring something to the table, don't look like Toyota...
